Crazy Fred’s had been a long time participant in Food Markets and Fayres and were looking for a way to extend their share in the ever competitive Chilli Sauce market. Starting with a new identity the project included labelling and an ecommerce website.

Taking the time to understand how Crazy Fred’s saw themselves in the market place and their audience, Big Purple Box produced an initial set of design ideas. Following a review by the client and over some time these were refined and developed until the finished logo was ready to be applied both online and in print.
Next came the e-commerce website design. Adopting a measured approach meant that, although the project lasted longer than planned, all the sauces were available to go on sale from the very launch of the website The e-commerce website was built in WordPress and uses the popular and free, WooCommerce plug-in. The site had only been live a few hours before orders started to arrive for these delicious sauces.
Designs for business cards followed, then the website and finally the labels for all those sauces. Like pretty much all our clients we are regularly in touch with Fred, advising on print options, search engine optimisation, online marketing and social media awareness.
