At Big Purple Box we take logo design very seriously. After all it’s one of the most visible aspects of your business. So we’ll listen to you, try to understand where you see your business, not just now but in years down the line. We never expect our first draft logo designs to hit the target dead centre. In this case one of the key requirements of the logo design was to ensure the logo wasn’t to masculine. Not an easy task when you’re dealing with a Black Bull! However never one to shrink from a logo design challenge a number of designs were submitted to the client ranging from a contemporary stylised bull to more traditional styles. Following a round of revisions and amends where the client had the fullest input the finished logo design was agreed.

Then came the task of ‘rolling out’ the new identity across all the different elements of print design. This included designs for business stationery, restaurant menu, beer mats, table talker and marketing leaflets. Each stage of the design process was approved before beginning the next. This way the client was able to control costs and payment schedules to suit their requirements.

The new, coherent corporate style is helping the bar and restaurant appeal to a wider cross section of the local community as well as attracting customers from further afield.
